Why Choose Cummins Generators from MW Hire? Our Latest Delivery to Co. Cork

Another Cummins generator delivered to Co. Cork! Pictured here is a Cummins C22D5 generator we recently delivered to a customer, combining Cummins engineering with supply and delivery from MW Hire.

If you’re searching for Cummins generators in Ireland or a diesel generator in Cork, this delivery offers a closer look at a practical option for your power requirements.

Power matched to your needs

Choosing a generator starts with understanding the equipment you need to run. The Cummins C22D5 offers 22 kVA standby power and 20 kVA prime power, with a Cummins diesel engine and 50 Hz operation. These separate ratings help customers select a generator for its intended duty, whether that means backup power or use as a primary power source.

For anyone considering a 22 kVA diesel generator, checking running loads, starting demands and expected operating hours is an essential first step. The right size depends on your application, rather than the headline power rating alone.

Practical features for everyday ownership

Performance matters, but so does ease of access and handling. MW Hire’s C22D5 listing includes full access doors, forklift pockets and a lifting hook, alongside a battery charger and water heater. These features support practical handling and routine servicing.

An option for backup power

An unexpected power interruption can disrupt work and leave essential equipment unavailable. A correctly specified standby generator can form part of a plan to keep priority loads supplied.

For customers considering automatic backup, MW Hire lists an optional auto changeover panel for the C22D5, intended to enable automatic starting in the event of mains failure. Ask about the appropriate configuration for your premises when discussing your requirements.

When you enquire, tell us what you need to power, where the generator will be used and whether you need prime or standby power. Those details provide the starting point for discussing a suitable model and configuration.
