As part of our continued expansion we have a vacancy for an experienced accounts payable manager to join our team.
Position Overview
The Accounts Payable Manager will oversee the accounts payable department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payment runs. This role requires a detailoriented individual with strong interpersonal skills to work with a team and collaborate crossfunctionally to maintain efficient financial operations
Key Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Oversee the timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Payment Processing: Manage payment runs, including scheduling and check payments.
- Supplier Relations: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, addressing enquiries and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Reconciliations: Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts payable accounts and supplier statements.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and implement best practices to enhance the accounts payable function.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team and other departments to support overall financial operations and reporting.
- Revenue reporting: Filing of Intrastat & VIES returns
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in accounts payable
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
